I listened to your prayer walk after my yearly dr appt for breast cancer. I prayed to God for strength to handle whatever the outcome would be before I went and am so grateful that I can now say that it has been three years & am still cancer free. Thank you for the prayer walks & look forward to the next one.
I always find that I grow so much closer to the Lord when going through a trial! He is my only hope in those times & my heart is so tender & I hunger to spend more time w/Him.
Love everything about this. The scenery, the wildlife, the prayer and music. And you landed on two passages that I hold near and dear. How can we embrace trials if we don't understand they are for our ultimate good? Going through a pretty great time of respite right now, but James 1 has gotten me through some pretty tough times. Thanks, Don! I look forward to more..... I know you don't take your phone on prayer walks, but do you always take your Bible?
Wow what a scenery you have around your prayer walk, I love reading this . I walk very early this morning around my neighborhood as I needed to clear my head. I read Romans 12:2 NIV before I left my house and I end up walking over 2 hours and it feels good to be outdoors then my allergies gotten worst.Do you bring your Bible on your walk? After my walk I read Jeremiah 29:11 and Psalm 50:14-15 CEV Thank you Donny I look forward reading your post🙏❤️
Donny, this was absolutely wonderful. The scenery and the wild life are amazing. For me, God always provided what I needed to go through any trial or struggle even when I didn’t see or feel it at the time. Afterwards, there was a growth in my faith which resulted in a closer walk with God. God teaches each of us something every time we go through a trial which can lead us to encourage others who might be experiencing something similar. One thing for sure, our hearts should remain open to receive the blessings that come afterwards. Thank you for sharing this journey with us. Blessings to you Donny! 🙏✝️
Thank you Donny, the park is beautiful, seeing God's creation is glorious! Something I learned after the death of my son and praying for his healing is that God did heal him, just not the way I wanted, he is happy and whole with Jesus. Alot of times we tell Jesus what we want and are upset because we didn't get things the way we wanted. When we step back and look we see God answered in the best way for us.
Another song that goes well with this is by Laura Story called Blessings.
Thank you so much, you are amazing. I discovered you on the podcast with GW and have been following you ever since with admiration. I love your music; listening to this first video brought tears to my eyes. I often ask why in my prayers, why the loneliness, why the suffering, why the illness? All these things I have to live with. Fortunately God is present in my life and I trust him.
I would have liked to know you but France is far and I don't speak English! Thank you for sharing these moments with us. May God bless you.
Oh my what a beautiful place! I’ve added that to my list of places to visit. Thank you, Donny, for starting these walks! Gosh is using you! My trials are a few (mostly relational and parenting) and I have been able to see the joy. I have grown emotionally, spiritually and physically in the last two years. It’s not easy! Today the part in Hebrews 12:11 that really stood out to me was the line about drooping hands and weak knees. I’m tired, so that was encouraging. He takes on all we feel and meets us right where we are. Imperfections and all! I believe when I put my sights on Him, I can find freedom in His strength as my warrior!
Let me just say Wow! Gods art always amazing me ❤️ My take from this scripture is…. If we never had trails or financial hardships or wished for a better life or never felt like I’m not enough or my kids deserve a better life than this…. Then Donny I don’t think that we would love and serve our Lord like we do. You know I struggle with not praising myself but people like you remind that God has a plan and he carries us through these storms to shape us into the Christians he wants us to be . Like the saying what’s the point of having new shoes if you never wear them (afraid of getting them dirty)and then before you know it you’ve outgrown them. I know he’s working on me… and I’m praising him every step through this valley… I thank you for all your support and prayers❤️
Thank you so much for touching my heart. This is very beautiful. I really enjoyed it. You pray so beautifully and meaningfully. I feel truly blessed and at peace.
Loved this!! Thank you for your inspiration and guidance! The sky was absolutely breathtaking in your video and it calmed my heart! Blessings to all of you on our prayer walk journey! Love ❤️ you all!!
When we are walking we should consider Jesus 100%. While we walk keeping in mind whether we are leading others to Jesus’ freedom or them to condemnation. I see so many try to lead a new soul but then take the reins from God and the person walks away feeling condemned. Donny you are helping hearts open to Jesus and you’re trusting Him with that heart. Bless you.
Donny, so enjoyed the prayer walk this morning, seeing the beautiful scenery, hear the wind and you sharing the scriptures was uplifting for me. Am currently having sciatic nerve issues which makes walking very painful after a few short steps. Before this started I would walk 2-3 miles a day, am so missing being outside. It is a struggle right now to “find the joy in this trial”. It has been a week of constant pain, even with doctor visits and various medications, no relief. Everyday I pray for some relief as I’m trying to understand the “why” of this current trial. My heart tells me to trust that this too shall pass, but my mind is struggling with it. Blessings!

Thank You Donny. You are such an inspiration for me. I hope to learn the answer to the many "whys" in my life. Thanks for showing me the way.
Thank you, Brother!

"Leaving,
To leave one's habits,
To let go of one's references,
Abandon your certainties,
To launch out without fear of doubt
And the rough patches:
This is the adventure of the believer!
To leave,
Raise your eyes,
To go further and further,
To live in hope
And move forward in the land of the future:
This is the adventure of the believer!
Leave
To leave one's limits
To flee from the shortcomings,
Stretch your gaze upwards
And respond to a call that goes beyond :
This is the adventure of the believer!
The adventure is beautiful:
Let us dare to live it!
