As I listened to this prayer walk and witnessed your tender heart toward others, a quote by Bob Pierce, the founder of World Vision kept reverberating in me. "Let my heart be broken by the things that break the heart of God." I believe we need to feel the effects of evil to understand even to a small degree what God feels for his children. Turning a blind eye or pretending it's not happening does nothing to change those things that break God's heart. It's overwhelming sometimes when we feel there isn't much we can do. But you're right. If each of us uses the gifts God has given us individually and collectively, we can stand against the enemy. Light is being shed in all this darkness. God will have the victory.

Thanks Don. That movie...if it doesn't hit you in the heart...I dare say you have no heart. I have personally worked with an organization that rescues girls from trafficking situations. I have held in my arms girls from 5 years old to 15 years old who have been sold by their mothers or grandmothers - the very people who should be protecting them. I have not been able to forget the look in their eyes, and how they wrap their arms around you when they realize they are safe. This world is messed up, but God can redeem. Sometimes I feel it is impossible to "fix this" because government officials are involved in these sins/crimes, but if we all work together...one child at a time, we CAN make a difference. Maybe not for all of them which is heartbreaking, but for that one child we can. Pray, Pray, Pray!!!

Thank you Donny for this amazing prayer walk and for what you and Brad Wozny shared "live" on Tuesday. After listening to it on my way home from work, God laid something on my heart to do. To speak up and share a few thoughts about it over on my blog, One Day at a Time. It's a small platform, but the size doesn't matter, but share what God lays on my heart to do. I was reminded how Jesus would place His own hands upon the heads of children and bless them. He cast out the demons in a small boy. Just to picture the "love" that Jesus/God has for all His children, young and old alike is exactly what you shared in this prayer walk that we should have for one another.

Like you shared, we all have gifts and/or talents to share, but we need to rise up in our faith and use those to the glory of God and start spreading the love of God with one another. Even if you feel you are inadequate and don't have a special gift, you do. All of us who have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, have a gift and that is to pray, pray, and pray! That is one thing we all have in common. Pray for these children! Pray for the ones who are hurting them and doing these evil acts! Pray for the families of these children! Pray for for those on the front lines who are trying to rescue these children!

It is hard for us to forgive those who are doing these harmful acts or even for those who have hurt us, and if you're like me, forgiving myself when I've hurt someone is hard. But we are asked to do this by God, why? Because Jesus first loved us. He died on the cross and bore our sin and shame and set us free to live in eternity with Him. Like you shared, Jesus said, "Forgive them, for they know not what they do!"

My prayer and hope is for each of us as yourself will rise up and if nothing else, pray for all the evil that is going on in our world today. Pray for one another. Check in on our family and friends. Bare one another's burdens and love one another as we should in the name of Jesus Christ.

Thank you Donny for all you do in letting God use you to inspire and encourage each one of us in this community. This is the most special place God brought me to last year. I'm blessed and eternally grateful for you and to each one of you! God bless you Donny and to all in this community! I appreciate and love each of you!

A few days ago I was talking to a missionary from YWAM. She gave me some world statistics and told cases that it is impossible not to cry and not to move.

Look at these numbers: there are approximately 3 billion people who have not been reached with the message of salvation.

Every 24 hours about 120 thousand people die without hearing the word of God.

Why did I mention these numbers?

When you mentioned some of the gifts that we have, I was reminded that missions organizations are in need of support, in need of these gifts.

And we can join them in reaching lives that are in sin and darkness.

It is these people who do not know the love and sacrifice of Jesus who are involved in the different types of trafficking that exist in the world.

There are things beyond what we Western Christians have seen, so we need to get involved, we need to get out of that “satisfied” place and let ourselves be “provoked”.

The freedom we have was given to us for free and we use it lightly, I think the world needs men and women who come to us and mobilize our hearts and your cry did just that, as well as the cry of the missionary I spoke to .

We need to pray, each and every movement of God on earth has an orational environment as its embryo.

Thank you for this walk full of mobilization.

God bless you and put you in the place he has prepared for you to be an evangelist!

Thank you my friend. I too cry for those who are hurting. God doesn’t like the spilling of innocent blood. His revenge is not my job. What I find is all the abortions that have taken place since Roe vs Wade in 1972. They have harvested parts from children and killed babies even pass birth,

It’s been some time since I have committed myself to a congressional church to listen to what a pastor would say to me. I finally got to the point where what was being said was what my old pastor would say. Are you getting the word of God or a sermonette. People would sit inside the four walls and once they left remembered nothing . I have been finding is the world hurting and they haven’t heard the good news. They were lacking love, friendship and people just showing care. I know the love of Jesus so my duty is to carry it out and show it. Jesus is the truth no doubt but my job is to love by my actions. We were once giving out gift cards for food. Someone was afraid to give them out because of what others might think of them. Those cards can make a difference to someone. We are going back to doing that as the Lord leads. I will continue to support what my heart leads. OURRescue, you, Graham and humane treatment of animals. Treating animals kindly does teach kindness to others about loving the voiceless. I’m walking in the light of God’s love. Thanks for the lead,

I have won awards for using my talents & gifts to help children grow. I will continue to do that as long as I am able, but I know God is not proud of me. I am not able -- or do I even want to -- forgive all the pedophiles who prey on children. I know one specifically who has escaped this world's punishment. My disdain for him is obvious. Thanks for prompting me to look at God's call to forgive. My heart's just not in it... pray for me. xoxo

Thank you for sharing Jan. Forgiveness can be difficult. I am praying that God will show you the importance and power of forgiveness. Here are some scriptures that come to mind:

2 Chronicles 7:14, Psalm 32:1, Jeremiah 31:34

This one is a powerful reminder of what Gods heart is like.

Matthew 6:14–15 If you forgive others, God will forgive you. If you don't forgive others neither will God forgive you.

Matthew 18:21–22

and the ever difficult thing to remember, especially after seeing the evil happen.

Ephesians 6:12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.

Be blessed

One of the best walks and the true human spirit in conflict in the world today. I have read about Tim's job experiences and what he saw. I must say my eyes have been opened and my heart as well. I must confess. when I heard you (Donnie) speak of demon activates I burst into tears without control. I have been praying for these children. God will save them in his way. Thank you.

Thank you for this heartbreaking prayer walk. The “one another commands” are definitely provided to us as a help in our walk of faith. The one that is the hardest to digest for me concerns forgiveness. This is how I see it and welcome your opinion! Forgiveness offered and available is not the same as forgiveness given and received. When I am willing to offer forgiveness it is not the same as being forgiven. True forgiveness involves confession and repentance. Forgiveness involves two people and God. If the person I am willing to forgive does not confess and repent, I cannot do it for them, I can however witness to and pray for them. True forgiveness comes from God.

The horrific suffering of children in this world is heart wrenching. Children are precious to Jesus. There are those in the world that rob children of their innocence. We must pray, witness, love and act. Taking action may be difficult depending on circumstances but we will never know until we seek out what is available, doable. Your inspiration and emotional plea today speaks to me to seek out more, additional ways to make a difference against this evil in the world. To dig deeper. God will provide the way and a path if I truly seek. Thank you Donny! God bless those in the fight to save the children.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts.

I can't help but think about Jesus on the cross.

No one was recorded asking Him for forgiveness or confessing and repenting and yet he said. "Father forgive them for they know not what they do".

Even the thief on the cross beside Jesus simply said in Luke 23:41...for we are receiving the due reward of our deeds; but this man has done nothing wrong.” And he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.” And he said to him, “Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in paradise.”

ALSO

Matthew 6:15 but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

That is enough for me to know what Jesus, God and the Holy Spirit are like and I wish to be as much like Jesus as I possibly can.

I hope you find that helpful in someway.

I saw the movie Sound of Freedom today. It makes me sad that these children are being treated this way. I knew this was happening but not to this degree. It took 5 years to get this movie into theaters!!! This has got to stop. And most of these children are kidnapped from the United States and being taken to other countries. Tim Ballard was determined to find that boys sister and to save Gods children. As Tim said, God’s children are not for sale. Amen! If you haven’t seen the movie, please make a point to go see it. It will make you cry and rock your soul!

As always, a beautiful area in which to take us on your journey. I love the venues you choose. And in contrast are the Hell holes depicted in Sound of Freedom. I have also seen the pics of the children being rescued from the animal cages where they were being held. I know we are supposed to forgive all but I am not sure I can forgive someone who sodomizes a 7 year old. What can you do? Support if you can as I do. There is such a need and hope that the elites get what is coming to them, from the members of royalty, the Hollywood elite, the major politicians and on down. Wouldn't it be a wonderful world if indeed, prayers were the whole answer. Be vigilant as these atrocities are occurring in our own back yards. On a softer note, thank you Donny for your walks and words that soothe our souls. I shall look forward to our next walk.
