Donny, lots of great questions to ask and challenge ourselves. Personally, I can say in the past and sometimes now when I temporarily take my eyes off Jesus, when the flesh comes out, I can say something I shouldn't (pass judgment). But I'm human, I admit I have been and still am guilty at times with this. Thankfully, God forgives me each time when I ask for it.

When you asked the questions about church whether a person goes or not, or complain about this and that, my belief is it's an individual choice of whether to attend church or not. We can worship, praise, and have fellowship with God any where at any time. I am not going to judge or condemn anyone for making that choice. For me, I attend and participate because I feel God is leading me to participate as I've seen people get saved, and that is one of the most blessed and humbling things to experience.

For me, wisdom is gained when we seek God first. God reveals that wisdom to us, but it's up to us individually to make the choice of how it gets carried out. Individually, we need to make sure the wisdom is from God and not of the flesh. I agree it does involve who we surround ourselves with. For me that definitely helps me to not veer off course as much. Right now, I'm actually praying for an accountability partner to encourage me and walk with me on this journey. When God places that person on my heart, I hope we can both be accountable with one another. There are new things I believe God has revealed to me lately that I've never done or considered before that I believe He wants me to do. It will take me out of my comfort zone again, and that is why amongst other reasons I'm praying for the accountability partner for myself and to be one for someone else. As a follower of Jesus Christ, I want to devote my life in faithful service to Him to further His kingdom.

Thank you again Donny for this prayer walk so we can stop and think, who or what do we spend our time with; what is wisdom like for each of us, etc. As always, I appreciate it so much as the prayer walks have definitely been used to help me grow in my own journey of faith. I continue to pray for you in your own journey! God bless you and this community!

Anne, your comments are beautiful! I love reading other people's posts because I believe we grow as christians when we open our hearts towards others and hear their journeys. I, myself, grew up I a strict Christian home and just believed as I was taught. It wasn't until my husband left and I was raising 4 kids on my own that I was questioned and in turn, questioned my own beliefs. Donny, sometimes trying to disprove God helps people like you to become a stronger Christian. That's what makes you such a good leader! I have (like an old hymn says) have proved Him over and over. Not always getting what I want, but always getting what I need.

Thank you Denise for these comforting and encouraging words. I still question God quite often, but like you said He knows better than I the path I need to take. That is growing in our faith as we draw even closer to Him. God bless you Denise!

“For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ. For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free—and have all been made to drink into one Spirit.”

‭‭I Corinthians‬ ‭12‬:‭12‬-‭13.

If we are one body and one mind we should join in the word of wisdom which is a gift. When I receive a gift I share that gift like a box of chocolates. I easily understand that older people than me hold more wisdom than I do. It is a wise man who listens to wise council. Mark and I have an older couple we meet with and both share with us much wisdom. Mark would like one friend to help hold him accountable but no one wants that job. I have some friends that help me. You my friend with these walks reach out to all of us. I have never had you turn away from my questions. Maybe we should be there for others which is the wisest thing we can do for others.

Thank you for an awesome time on this journey.

I like the scripture and what you had to say. "When I receive a gift I share that gift".

I've been thinking this week about wisdom and the difference between wordly wisdom and godly wisdom. Some very wise people are dumb as rocks when it comes to the things of God. Did Solomon squander his God-given wisdom into wordly wisdom? The Bible talks about the wise being made foolish. I believe there's also a difference between head knowledge and heart knowledge. We can know God's Word backwards and forwards but if we aren't applying it, it means little. Surely there is little room to judge others based on what we think we know. I'm sure most of us who have faith want godly wisdom and heart knowledge, so staying humble and seeking His face will hopefully lead us to both. Love these thought-provoking prayer walks!

Many prayer walks are special to me, because the message deeply touched my heart. This episode is another on the huge list, so thank you very much for letting yourself be used by the Holy Spirit.

I also thank you for praying for Brazil, my country needs God’s grace and mercy!

God is wonderful and has been so kind to me the last few days as I have been participating in a therapy called “guided therapeutic writing”, this technique is based on scripture and Jesus’ relationship with the most unlikely of people, for example Samaritan woman – this story of Jesus sitting by the well is rich in healing, forgiveness and love...

So, God has placed me on “his precious therapeutic couch” and brought to the surface emotions and behaviors that I thought were healed...

And now, this episode/the topic “wisdom”, which due to my profession I need to be aware of so as not to let the “feeling of superiority” take over me, because as a teacher I need to study a lot and have control over my area of knowledge.

I can say that I don't have a habit of ridiculing or belittling others, but some characteristics of my personality can put me at that level, I am impulsive; full of strange contradictions that sometimes lead me to act presumptuously and I can hurt some people I love, respect and want to have by my side as friends.

Recently I spoke too much and I think I hurt someone I really care about, because this person moved away from me and I haven't seen the space to ask for forgiveness.

So, I have been praying, asking God to clarify the situation, bringing us forgiveness and peace. Despite all my imperfections, I know that Jesus died on the cross not only to save me, but also to heal my emotions and straighten my behavior.

A wonderful and soul searching journey of personal growth which comes after we surrender to Jesus Christ. Only then, can we move to the next level to see and accept our gifts. Next comes the more difficult task of what/how to best use them. Wisdom for me is to be smarter in my prayers and understand (if possible) the answers we get from God above. The more we know the more we seek to know Jesus Christ in depth and faith. My faith and trust are strengthened by wisdom and the experiences it brings. Please know that I do not understand all I get answers but, I know God knows best. Thank God!

Wisdom is truly a gift. It is a most important gift given we have the ability to walk/speak/interact with those around us. Oh how I need wisdom. Oh how I wish wisdom would rise above any human or emotional response!

So very thankful for Holy Spirit who leads and guides. Thankful, Donny for your open, honest and challenging walks that spurn us on to give Glory to God.
