It is finished... Isn't it?

Are we living in such a way that shows we believe this to be true? Tetelestai
Good morning Donny! “It is finished” are powerful words Jesus said dying on the cross. Similar words came into my mind last week confirming to me that God will indeed “finish what He started.” In other words, I believe He will finish what He started with me, and it will be completed the day He calls me to my eternal home. I ask myself a lot of questions which I reflect on. And recently when I did this, God reminded me especially around the words, “He’ll finish what He started,” Galatians 2:20 came to mind. “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” If I remember and trust that, it is finished, and I will trust that He will finish what He started through me until the day He calls me home. This is what I celebrate and Donny, thank you for this reminder! I also thank and praise God for it also!
What it settled and finished is that we are no longer controlled by sin and death and are free to live fully in God's blessings. While his work of salvation is finished, our living out that salvation is not. I don't believe it's wrong to have dreams and goals, but I think we must hold them loosely, giving God the room to guide and direct us into His will for us. Sometimes he gives us the desires of our hearts, and sometimes he takes us a completely different direction. But like you, I often forget to celebrate the victory I have because of what He has done for us through Jesus. Thanks for this reminder today. The video was great, equipment or not.
