Donny, this was a great prayer walk, it got me thinking about prayer in my life. I know when I was younger I would pray for things…and even try to barter for things. It has been through growth in my faith that my prayers have changed. Now my prayers are for me conversations with God, times when I talk a lot, times when I just surrender, listen to my heart. I pray in morning, and night every day..there are times during the day when faced with things, I will stop, ask for guidance…part of all my prayers are giving gratitude to God for my life. I do pray for signs, like Graham said you have to be open to receive the signs. Thanks for this beautiful prayer walk…oh I often walk and pray in the morning..at sunrise feeling the glory of God. Blessings!

Wonderful surprise and what a joy it was to listen to three good friends have an open, honest, and respectful conversation. Honestly, we need more of that in this world. I've been truly blessed by this prayer walk.

Regarding prayer, I believe there is no right or wrong way to pray as long we communicate what's on our heart & mind to Him. If you think about, He knows every thought of ours any way, so my take is - be honest and just tell Him. Faith is really determined by our actions. Faith should be active; actively serving God, actively praying to Him, and actively praising & worshiping Him.

Again, thank you Donny, Jesse, & Graham for this wonderful prayer walk. What a way to bring in #100. I appreciate each one of you as I wouldn't be able to do the things God is calling me to do without Him placing certain people in my path to be used as His vessels to encourage & inspire me. Thank you again and God bless each one of you & your families.

Well this was an awesome episode and what a great 100th prayer walk! I loved the entire conversation. My prayer life with God is pretty much a continual conversation throughout my days. He knows me in and out and loves me so completely even when I need to rant or question or just ramble. But I try very hard every day to take time to get quiet and really listen for what He might have for me. What He wants from me more than anything I can "do" is for me to be in relationship with Him. He understands my humanity and weaknesses, but is continually drawing me to Him and to be more like the human example He gave to us in Jesus who was fully divine and fully human. He gets it and He gets me. Do I always read His signs correctly and do I resist them sometimes? Yep! But He never gives up on trying to direct me in His ways instead of my own. Thanks for doing this with Jesse and Graham. What a special trio of men who only want what God wants for them.

Loved today's Prayer Walk. A kinda weird question kept popping in my mind as each of you professed a desire to be closer to God, to have a closer relationship, to rely on Him more. What would that "better" relationship actually look like in Liffe? How would it manifest itself? Obviously, He would always have more power in the relationship. Thanks for pondering my question -- if you have time. ~ Jan xoxo

great question! Thank you for asking.

For me "better" would be more intimate and with me having more faith to step into what He has called us as "followers" to, with out hesitation, grumbling or complaining. I'd like to obey His commands more completely with out fail and love others with out partiality.

I loved this prayer walk with the 3 of you. The first time I saw the 3 of you together was at Graham's house on his podcast Time Has Come. I have prayed for each of you since then and am so encouraged by this prayer walk. How fun when brothers dwell together. God bless you each and continue to grow us all up in Him. Yes, I pray to the one true God. The Trinity of Father God, Jesus Christ my Savior and Holy Spirit. I've been saved for 58 years and walked diligently with Him for the last 46. He is my all in all and my everything.

I love your Prayer Walks Donny. Jesse, I so enjoy your movies and loved you on Heartland. Graham, I miss you on Heartland and loved Ty and Amy together. More than that, I'm thrilled to know you're my brothers in Christ and pray He uses you for His purposes and plans. Graham, thanks for speaking out politically too. It's such a crazy world we're living in. I urge you to know The Bible so you can discern truth from darkness and know what is right and good and pleasing to our Lord. There is only One way to the Father and that's through Jesus Christ our Lord. Hallelujah! I'm thankful for each one of you and for the journey God has us each on.

What a lovely surprise. You were all three walking in the power of God. I do fast for whatever God calls and I’ve seen faith at work and it is dead if not exercised. Praying is my love hugs to Abba my Father. Love all three of you.

This was an awesome conversation. You have given me some ideas for a retreat I'm leading for 8 young men who are preparing for Baptism in 3 weeks. Thank you!

Fasting is a regular practice in my faith community and in my personal prayer life, so I really enjoyed thinking about why I find fasting helpful. I think the physicality of fasting is an important aspect of the experience. There are also aspects of feeling closer to God knowing that Jesus experienced the joys and challenges of fasting. Related to that, fasting is an opportunity offer up my suffering for Christ. And I also find fasting and abstinence brings God to mind more often throughout my day. A Jewish friend of mine recently reminded me that fasting also helps foster and nurture a disposition of gratitude.

Thank you Don, Jesse and Graham. 🙏🕯🙏🤗💕

Wow!

So many times I caught myself saying “yes” “amen” “totally”

Prayer to me is an ongoing conversation with God. Yes I have my times that I get alone and talk to Him, or listen, or cry, or just be still… but it never stops, I need Him all day long.

Faith is just the knowing He is there! I could totally agree with everything. Over the weekend God showed up in a big way for my family. I was wavering cause He had been silent for so long… then another catastrophe happened and I just bawled…. I kept knowing He was gonna take care of it then I would wonder (yes it’s in your head and your heart knows it’s gonna)…. Anyway I asked for help from people, that’s very hard for me, and God came through in an even bigger way…… our well pump went out and we had no water. We also had no money to fix it… one guy said $3,000. He wanted half up front then we could pay it out. We didn’t have it, all the money we had was already going for a bills. So at church I started asking around. I was given another contact and encouraged by several people to get a second opinion. So I called this guy and he was just down the road so he came right over and said the same thing as the other guy. So he said I can go get parts and I’ll pull it out and change it out and you’ll have water by the end of the day. I’m like I need to know a price and what kind of financing you do and he said no you don’t! Don’t worry about, we’ll get you taken care of! I was like ok. And he said you’re already weighed down by too much don’t let this weigh you down!!! The thing is I was but he didn’t know me from Adam! I have no idea if my pastor talked to him about what we had going on. Well it was a day and half later with several obstacles/problems later we had water and he never charged us dime! Plus he included my 11 year old son and let him help, talked to him about God. I could take up so much room in how God took care of us and we don’t have a mountain of debt and my faith is renewed that no matter how long it takes He’s gonna take care of it.

That was an awesome prayer walk, just added to my weekend and my faith.

Just let God be!! We limit God so much with our thinking!!

What an awesome prayer walk! God has definitely used all three of you men and your friendship with each other and whatever roles you have played in life. You are three leaders and I’m thankful to God for all three of you.

I usually start out my prayers in Thanksgiving And gratitude to God. I love to throw up my arms and hands and praise God in all that He has done, and all He continues to do in my life. He has healed me in many many ways, he has closed doors that were not meant to be opened for me, He has taken care of most of my family and friends, He has blessed me and continues to bless me each and every day. My favorite place to pray, is when I’m driving my car. The drivers today sometimes scare me, and he is my passenger but I really know he’s doing the driving. I talk to him like I would talk to anyone, and He always listens.

This is interesting, because just two days ago at the church, I attend, we had a guest speaker and he ended his sermon saying that prayer was the number one thing that we should be having in our life every day. I know that we are all human, and sometimes we forget, but our God never forgets us!!

Thank you to all of you for an amazing prayer walk. It’s nice to hear your conversation on prayer and listening to God. Blessings to all three of you and thank you to all three of you for your grace and guidance!

Blessings and lots of hugs!

Thank you three for sharing your methods of praying and being so open and raw on sharing your relationships with God.

Although I grew up in the church in my mid to late 40s I pretty much stepped away and now I feel church is everywhere...wherever i go. It's not a building where there are rules and constraints...for me. I feel free and open in my relationship with God. I've surrendered and put my trust in Him always.

I have such an appreciation for this life and my relationship to God. So my prayers are of gratitude and of faith. I know I will be provided with what I need...be it a challenge to face or a joy to celebrate. What I'm given is what I need and for that I thank God.

May God Bless you three. You all are showing us who God is by simply being who you are. ❤️🙏

How do I pray? Great question Donny. After thinking about your question I realized that in the past I was structured with my morning and nighttime prayers. At that time I was busy during the day with school, working, and raising a family. Now I am not as structured and have realized that I pray and talk to God throughout the day everyday, however, not in a structured way. These conversations include my gratitude for what I have been given, asking God to help me make the right decisions, to help me be kind, thoughtful, and giving, along with asking for help with friends and family that need prayers and to keep them safe.

Grahams- thank you for the reminder about signs and listening and to be patient, God will send a sign when WE are ready to receive it.

Jesse- thank you for the reminder that there are no rules to how or when to pray.

Donny, this was an amazing prayer walk. Thanks to all 3 of you for sharing your thoughts on prayers. Please keep spreading your word 🤗

Hello Donny, thank you for such a powerful prayer...

This morning, I saw your "Prayer Walk #100", FAITH AND FASTING...

It was magnifyin for me...

Your joy and faith, along with your guests, GrahamWardle✨️ and JesseHutch, made my day happy.

I feel confident that I will have a blessed journey today🙏

I would like to ask you a question:

In your daily prayers do you only give thanks? Or do you ask for something too, from the Lord?

A big hug from Brazil 💚

Thank you for your question.

I do both. I ask for things and give thanks. I'd like my prayers to be more about thanksgiving though.

Donny this was so good, it gave me such a good feeling and knowing that I need to put all my faith into God and just surrender to him, Jesse is so right about surrendering to God and that feeling of peace that comes with that surrendering, Graham was right about is this my mind or my overthinking telling me this or do I need to be still and feel and listen to my heart, words of wisdom …

Thank you so much for this prayer walk Donny, your prayer walks bring me a sense of peace and comfort ..🙏❤️
