Good timing with asking for prayer. I would say in general let’s be praying for all of us who are going to be traveling over the holidays as well as the hard and joyful moments of seeing family. Personally, I am writing my second book. I’ve been on a solo writing retreat, and it has gone really well, so that is a huge praise. What I pray for is that I will be humbled to listen to God‘s leading, that I am just the instrument that He is speaking through. I pray that I have a heart to hear so I can clearly relay a message of hope and Truth! Donny, how can we pray for you?!

Donny, thank you for always reminding us to pray not just for ourselves, but for all of those around us that need help or time to resolve an issue. You know I help a lot of people and sometimes I need help but I don’t always come out and say it and now I’m asking you for eight minutes just to say a special prayer for the things going on in my life that are causing me tremendous turmoil.

Donny, this time of the year may be challenging for many people, I would ask for prayers for all during this holiday season, those traveling, those facing struggles and for God's love being present as we move into the holidays. I have a specific request for my son, Bill, who is having some health issues, lots of upcoming tests to hopefully find answers to what is causing his arm & leg numbness along with times of foggy brain. Blessings to you and continued prayers for you as you travel on your life's journey.

Good morning! Some may know, but I’m asking prayer for my right knee. Due to an almost 30 year injury, it has decided to act up. I’m not in any real pain which is a huge praise, but like so many suffer with as we age, mine is grinding bone on bone which weakens the knee and how much pressure you can put on it and limits walking. Currently, I’m using a cane so I keep the pressure off. I see a doctor this Thursday morning to see what’s going on. The knee is pretty strong with a feeling if I’m not careful it could give way, and that’s when it could hurt. I can still drive which is great. I covet and appreciate your prayers. I’m grateful for what I can do instead of what limits me. God bless all of you!

Hi Donny and all! It's been a rough ride for John and me for a while now. There's been so much death and illness in our families! Today, though, I have some good news to share!! Our brother in law Keith has pulled out of his coma and is on the road to recovery. He might even be released in the next few days. He'll probably then go home and follow up with treatment plans This seems like a miracle to me! John and I want to thank everyone who's prayed for Keith and ask for your continued prayers.

Praying for everyone! So much loss; no matter in what form!!

Prayers for my family: lots of changes coming in the new year…. The biggest is me going from a stay at home mom of 13 years to a working mom. I will have 2 part time jobs plus still work on my business and homeschool. It’s been rough getting a new routine etc. My son has mild autism so changing routines is hard. Anyway these changes are an adjustment for all of us.

For me?

Prayer that I clearly hear and see where God leads me and for the courage and wisdom to step into His will in faith.

On the worldly side:

Finances and wisdom to get electricity, water, heat and AC in the bus, for my social security number to come in so I can open a bank account and get a local phone number and paid work in music and film

Donny thank you. My husband is a long haul trucker and with that usually comes a host of health problems. My husband's health could take him out of the truck and we would end up homeless. Please keep him in your prayers. Also, this year has been especially hard on us financially. Between my shoulder surgery, my husband's tests, my testing on my lungs, and the accident we had with the deer, I have to scrimp and penny punch to make sure our bills are paid. So please keep these needs in prayer.

Thanks Donny from the bottom

of my heart! Love your prayer walks! I just lost my mom just a few days after her 96th birthday this past November 15th, 2024 with Alzheimer’s after almost 12 years. I had divorced when my only daughter was barely age three. Despite being a RN, I had a type 1 brittle diabetic condition since age six thus my parents advised returning home knowing just how dangerous it could be if I should have a bad insulin reaction low or high. I never remarried but continued my nursing career and remained with my parents while raising my daughter, getting her through college and watching her become a very successful and talented independent woman with a great career, wife and mother of 2 young men (my grandsons) of which I am very proud of both academically and respectively of their chosen life careers with one still in progress at age 16. As is said and I shall repeat, it isn’t easy loosing a loved one. Lost dad with cancer back in 2008 and mom just recently. I’ve spent a life time with both whole heartedly. Raised as a Christian not only putting my faith and trust in God, I also just recently learned that my eldest grandson is in the process of transitioning into a female. My daughter withheld the information from me fearing my reaction although my grandson had suffered from a spectrum of autism since birth which he was later diagnosed with it. I lived in Texas while my daughter had moved to California to continue her education and married there. They eventually returned to Austin, Texas. I knew his condition was awkward spending his life somewhat in a box not openly communicating with people under this shy shadow demeanor with a soft voice one could barely hear nor would he look directly at you when speaking. He was a great person never getting into any trouble, but it was so sad and worrisome to watch him cower into this corner not being able to communicate with others around him much less family or psych professionals to help him and he refused meds of ant type as he still doesn’t today at age 21. He literally lives in his room and communicates with friends over the internet playing computer games. Lfor his 21s birthday, his parents took him to California where he had spent his early years with childhood friends that he still keeps in touch with today. He isn’t one to share information about himself nor his companions. Quiet as a mouse! He generally would not go out of his room for vacations or going out to eat. Food is brought to him. His mom would cry often desiring to share his world and killed his parents and me to watch him deal with this condition. Even his younger brother once informed me that they really don’t speak. His younger brother is quite the opposite very social, active and excels academically. I can not even begin to imagine what his life is like living in this secluded box day and night. Yet he seems quite content if this is his world of happiness. I inquired how he/she decided this was the answer had he not dated nor shared much communication with other people his age except with playing computer games to whomever they meet and chat with? He told them about his wishes just 2 years ago and is in this process of transitioning. I am at awe learning that there are several cases of this situation going on within our families and close relatives now and even of those in the past that due to my ignorance and the nature of this condition I was unaware of in my younger years. I grew up a country bumpkin and was not told about this reality and shockingly learned I had relatives with this same issue. Talk about stupid! Not everyone outwardly dresses, walks or talks in a way to make it obvious known ad that of my grandson. I also had a friend back in my high high school days that hung with us girls, but I never questioned his identity one way or another. I had to learn from others when entering college and what a shock! I never even thought that something like this situation would happen within my family nor relatives, but I am witnessing this reality literally everywhere?? Yes. I understood there was a time when such was hidden and unspoken but now it’s no longer considered a big deal and generally just accepted. What does God have one do knowing this is not acceptable in the bible? I’ve heard about such cases for years but now it’s me confronting this and now that I am living with my daughter and grandson who is going through this transitioning, I am even having to learn which pronoun to address he/she or they if mot for sure. It isn’t easy. My daughter informed me that only learned about this 2 years ago but they are dealing with it in stride. They’re long out of the shock phase and go about their daily life. First loosing my mom at age 96, and she being a strong Christian woman with great respect and faith would surely been devastated so glad she didn’t know. My daughter withheld telling me for as long as she could. Only then did I realize why he wasn’t coming to visit. I saw Wearing a black earring and then black painted nails which I understood was pretty common with the younger generation as a fad. Ok. Now I know! And quite frankly, it puts one up against a fence and a diir post. How can one turn away from a loved one? One has to love God more yo turn away. Why would God place families in this situation? A test to one’s salvation? Right now, I am hesitant! I love my family, only daughter and both oof my grandchildren. I told my daughter quite truthfully, well I always had wanted a granddaughter and now I have one! Maybe my wishes came true despite not exactly how I had desired it to be accomplished. At any rate, I strongly feel that you surely have confronted this type of situation with other families. What are your suggestions? Prayer to make things right with Thee is all I can come up with. Lots and lots of earnest prayer! God has always been good to answer my payers as only HE sees fit and when He sees fit. His answers have always been based on his time which could take years before He sees fit to reply, and it could be yes, no or maybe. I adk for your prayers not only in this award situation that I have been placed in but also for helping me get through this recent loss if my beloved mother. I am glad that God has already blessed me with a loving daughter, and her family that is making my everyday needs more than complete. I have a roof over my head, I am suddenly endowed with finances way beyond my dreams, and life thus far is good. Just put a little tweet in my ear to make life easier to swallow. I appreciate your prayers. I have followed you, Graham Wardle first since Heartland and now a member of his second “GWTHCSubstack” platform and podcast. Also Tyrone Morales. Not been watching Heartland anymore since GW left in season 13. I stopped watching and utilized my remote to skip over parts in seasons 14 and 15 but that’s where I stopped. Enough was enough! Still have GW’s pics, both signed poetry books and his 5 poetry cards. I would be lying if I told you that I am ecstatic about his new gal and their love life because I always had hoped that it would be Graham and Amber Marshall together but I admit that their lives were extremely close but apart in interest as GW kinda went his way. I also had high hopes of him returning to acting but now I think it will be a very difficult journey due to his many convictions and bitcoin. Not everyone is persuaded over bitcoin as fir me, it’s like taking risk similar to the stock market. Not going there. I rather be safe than sorry and simply, I don’t understand just how it works. God discourages gambling so to speak. Best wishes! Continue your Prayer trail walks. Amen!

That's a lot you are navigating.

with regards to the person who wishes to "transition". I believe the Bible is clear. Tell the truth in a loving way.

it is a delusion to think they can change what gender they are and to "play along" is not loving.

I am praying for you.

I have 2 adult sons living with me. One 46 years that has gone through a divorce. The other is 41 years old and has never left home and is trying to establish his own business. They both prayed to receive Christ in their younger years but there is no evidence of the Holy Spirit in their lives now. Please pray that God will pull them back to Himself. That is my daily prayer for them. They see their mother attend Community Bible Study and teach 2-4 graders in CBS. And I attend church every Sunday. I don't know where I would be without my church family. I was widowed in 2016 when I lost the love of my life after 48 years of marriage.
