Donny, I sat where I do each morning to focus and study God's word and have prayer time, and I re-read Provers 1. After a few minutes in silence for a time, verses 1, 7, and 20 stood out to me. Since January 2022, I've been seeking more wisdom, discernment, and guidance for my life. In these verses, the following word or words leaped from the pages and into my mind; Knowledge, Wisdom, Discernment, Guidance, Action, & Fear of the Lord. I believe "wisdom" is gaining true knowledge from God, Biblically speaking through studying His Word and through prayer. I also believe wisdom leads to discernment, which leads to guidance, and a call to action per God's will and timing for our lives. Fear of the Lord is to honor and respect God. For me, it starts with "fear the Lord" before I can truly gain the wisdom to be able to discern His will for my life. Where I'm at in my life right now, I'm constantly growing and learning in knowledge so I can hopefully gain the wisdom to effectively discern His will for my life to guide me into that call to action each day. Thank you again for encouraging us in our own journeys of faith to what God is calling each of us individually to do.

Sometimes it is important to just take the time to sit quietly and just listen and see what the Lord is trying to tell us. Thank you for the words from Proverbs to make us aware that we need to do this. Your prayer walks are always a blessing to me. Praying for you as I do every morning.

I don't know you personally, even though I would like to meet you face to face some time. I just know what you sing about and tell us in your prayer walks. I know we all have trials that make us stronger. We wait on the Lord's blessings by trusting in him. I pray that your bus is coming along and that your Visa has come through. But you and I both know God is in control and it is with His timing that these things will happen. God Bless you.

Thank you Donny for Proverbs 1 Beautiful and you gave us time to meditate.

A beautiful sunset. Thank you for sharing !

As I sat in the dim light as you gave your heart felt instructions even my big dog lay silently beside me. The sunset you included spoke to the right side of my mind. The darkness was significant to the words as I know the world is in a dark place right now. God through the wisdom he has given you we all see why there is a darkness. The world seems to have gone mad. But there is always hope in the distance just like the sun in its setting. If my dog can feel the quiet, so can I. The spirit draws us to the savior to sit under His wings. My instructions are like this is to turn off the media’s opinion and trust my God above all. He holds the light and my future. I have nothing to fear. I will pray, I will praise Him. You did this walk at the night hour yet it became a joy for my morning.

Thank you, Anne. This morning was unusual. My dog is normally worrisome in the morning but while I listened to Donny he was extremely quiet and relaxed. That was in itself God’s presence.

I loved the format that you chose today. How peaceful and calming was your prayer, with the brilliance of the setting sun and your words of wisdom, as the sun sank below the horizon in ever changing colors. It gave me inner peace to reflect on what I wanted to say. I thank you for this as it helps me on my path. Take care.

Thank you for this quiet and timely Prayer Walk and reading. I was in Upper Michigan this weekend and spent a lot of time just walking nature trails and enjoying the beauty that is fall. This quiet time with no electronics was something I was in desperate need of. For so many it is hard to quiet and just be still with our thoughts and prayers. I notice this with you as well, it seems as of late you are looking for the quietness (I pray you take time for yourself as you work hard for others). This was a great reminder to listen to learn and not just listen to respond.

So, new evening, I will try again! I don't normally go without sound in my background. But, I tried it, and it was very refreshing. Even when I read my devotions, I have the news on the TV on. This time, though, I did not! I feel like God is trying to get me to do something for His coming kingdom, I just don't know what. In the past, I have gone on mission trips, sang in the choir, taught Sunday School, been a youth leader, and helped in women's activities at church. But, all of those things take energy and a healthy back, which I don't have. I have been thinking of having a prayer ministry to pray for individuals, groups, churches, missionaries, etc. I could do all that from wherever I am or whatever state I am in. I guess I feel like "no one will know". But, I know that doesn't even matter. What do you think? And, how do I start this up? I need a little advice. Thanks! By the way, I pray for you and your ministry often. Denise

I love it! and good for you for trying something new with removing the background sound.

You are correct, it doesn't matter if "no one knows" because God knows.

Have you thought about calling a couple people to join you once a week to meet up and pray for people or do a zoom or conference call?

It would be amazing to get a group of prayer warriors together.

Good Sunday Morning, Donny. I will shortly be leaving to head to church. I am excited about what will be taking place at our church this week. Judgment House will be taking place with a play called Overcomer. It is about drugs and what can happen in families when drugs are involved. In the past we have had over 1,000 people coming to the play. I pray that many people will come to Christ after seeing what can happen when drugs are involved in households. I wish my precious husband could be with me this year to help with it. I hope you and the people who see this will pray for many salvations. It will be each night from October 25 through October 31.

Thank you for the "night and sitting" walk, I thank you especially for the Scripture, there are so many lessons! But, what stood out to me was: “the fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge but fools despise wisdom and discipline” (Proverbs 1:7).

I ask God that I don't fall into the category of fools, because I fail and make mistakes daily. However, what I find beautiful about Salamao's wisdom in writing this book is that he exhorts, but does not fail to highlight God's character of justice, kindness and love: "But whoever listens to me will live in safety and will be at ease, without fear of any evil" (Proverbs 1:33)

This consoles me, because my identity is built on who God says I am and not on circumstances, and above all, God knows the intention of my heart!

Thank you for the extra effort to produce this episode!
